J. Kiely Engineering is a steel erection and cladding contractor based in Thurles, County Tipperary, We serve Commercial Agricultural and Industrial clients across Munster and beyond. We specialise in the supply and installation of Structural Steelwork, Roof and Wall Cladding systems, and Roller Shutter Doors, along with general building works. From single-unit sheds and warehouse fit-outs to large-scale industrial builds, we work with main contractors, developers, Farm and Agri clients, and business owners who need the job done safely, to spec, and on schedule. At J. Kiely Engineering, we control every step of the process. Rather than outsourcing key stages, every component is manufactured in our dedicated workshop before being transported and erected on site. This hands-on approach guarantees superior strength, fit, and finish on every single build.
Information
We erect structural steel frames for warehouses, industrial units, sheds and agricultural buildings — portal frames and slatted or cubicle units included — along with steelwork for extensions, mezzanines, stairs, walkways, gantries and platforms. On the envelope side, we install roof cladding in insulated panel, single-skin and insulated panel, we also handle overcladding and re-roofing on existing buildings, finishing every job with gutters, downpipes, flashings and trims. We also supply and fit roller shutter overhead doors, and carry out servicing, repairs and replacement on doors already in place. Alongside this we take on site welding and fabrication, sheeting and cladding repairs including storm damage, roof and gutter maintenance, and bespoke one-off projects such as canopies, bin stores and plant enclosures. Whatever the scale — a single shed or a full industrial build — the job is handled by an experienced in-house team with the same focus on safe working, quality finish and honest communication.
